Frequently Asked Questions

Both lawyers and solicitors offer legal services to represent clients. In the UK, you’ll often see these terms used interchangeably, but ‘lawyer’ tends to be more general, covering solicitors, barristers, and other legal executives.

Solicitors, on the other hand, usually specialise in advisory and transactional work.

So you could say, all solicitors are lawyers, but not all lawyers are solicitors!

Yes, £50 Fixed Fee Initial Consultation is charged. If you’re looking for solicitors in North Wales, please feel free to contact the team at Winrow.

As with any service, this again depends on the individual solicitor or firm. It also depends on the services you need. Drafting a will, for example, will accrue a different cost than getting a divorce.

At Winrow Solicitors, we provide fixed-fee services and are always as upfront and transparent about our pricing as possible.
We also offer legal aid services to provide financial aid to clients who cannot afford legal representation.
